[Body]
Well, let me tell you about this fella, Alex Pereira, this big ol’ strong boy. They say he walks around real heavy, you know, like when he ain’t fightin’.
He’s a big one, that’s for sure. I heard tell he’s over 230 pounds when he’s just goin’ about his day. That’s a whole lotta man! More than those skinny fellas you see on TV sometimes. I tell ya, it’s like he carries a whole sack of potatoes around with him all the time.
Now, when he goes to fight, they say he weighs in at 205, that’s for the light heavyweight, you see. But then, after he weighs in, he eats and drinks and gets himself back up to near 230, maybe even more, some folks say 238! Can you believe that? That’s like gainin’ a whole small child in weight!
- He’s a big fella, walks around heavy.
- Weighs in at 205, fights around 230 or more.
- That’s a lot of weight to gain back!
I don’t know how he does it, this weight gainin’ thing. It’s like magic, you know? One minute he’s lighter, then BAM, he’s heavy again. Maybe he eats a whole cow or somethin’. I bet he could eat a whole pie all by himself, and then ask for seconds!
They say he’s fightin’ this other fella, Israel Adesanya. Now, Adesanya, he’s a good fighter, real quick and tricky. But this Pereira, he’s just so darn big. It’s like a David and Goliath thing, you know, from the Bible? Only this Goliath is real good at fightin’ too. Some folks are sayin’ it ain’t fair, ’cause Pereira is so much bigger. They say, how can Adesanya fight someone so much heavier? Well, that’s just the way it is, I guess. Life ain’t always fair, is it? You just gotta deal with what you’re given.
I seen some pictures of him, Pereira. He’s got muscles everywhere, like those fellas in the magazines, you know, the ones with the shiny skin? Only Pereira looks like he actually works for those muscles, not just posin’ in front of a mirror. He looks like he could chop down a whole forest with his bare hands.
This weight thing, it’s got folks talkin’. They’re sayin’ maybe there should be rules about how much weight you can gain back after you weigh in. But I don’t know about all that. Seems complicated. I just like watchin’ the fights. It’s excitin’, you know? Seein’ who’s gonna win, who’s gonna get knocked down. It’s like a good ol’ fashioned brawl, only with rules and a referee.
I heard tell they’re gonna fight on November 12th. That’s not too far away now. I’ll be sure to tune in and watch. I wanna see if this big ol’ Pereira can win again, or if Adesanya can figure out a way to beat him. It’ll be a good fight, that’s for sure. You can bet your bottom dollar on that.
Anyways, that’s what I know about this Alex Pereira and his weight. He’s a big fella, that’s for sure, and he knows how to use that size to his advantage. Whether it’s fair or not, well, that’s for other folks to argue about. Me, I’m just gonna sit back and watch the fight.
