Alright, let’s talk about this Kyle McCord fella and his girlfriend, or whatever the young folks call it these days. You know, back in my day, we just said “courting” or “going steady.” But these youngsters, they got all sorts of fancy words.
So, this Giangiordano girl, she’s been with Kyle for five whole years! Five years! That’s a long time, even for us old folks. She put it on that Instagram thing, you know, the picture place? Said “5 years with you 🖤 never a dull moment.” Sounds like they’re pretty happy, I guess. Kids these days, always showing off online. We didn’t have none of that back when. We just told our neighbors face to face.
Now, this Kyle, he plays football. Big, strong fella, throws the ball around. He used to be at Ohio State, but then he went to Syracuse. Why? Well, that’s what everyone’s yappin’ about. Seems like he wanted the coach to promise him he’d be the main guy, the starter. But the coach, he couldn’t do that. Said it wasn’t fair to the other boys, I reckon.
- So, Kyle, he up and left. Went to Syracuse.
- Now, some folks say it’s also ‘bout money. These kids these days, they get paid for playing sports, can you believe that?
- They call it NIL, or somethin’. Means “Name, Image, and Likeness”. Fancy words, I tell ya.
This Kyle, he’s making a good chunk of change from this NIL stuff. Heard someone say he’s making somethin’ like $308,000 a year. And at Syracuse, they say he’s worth $840,000. That’s a whole lotta money! Enough to buy a whole farm, back when land was cheap. Now, that kind of money could buy two or maybe even three farms. I’ll tell ya, back then, farming was the only money-makin’ business. But now it is all this tech stuff.
I don’t know much about football, to be honest. It’s a rough game, all that pushing and shoving. But this Kyle fella, he seems to be good at it. And he’s got a pretty girlfriend, been with him for a long time. That’s good, I guess. Loyalty’s important, in my book. And making a good livin’, well that don’t hurt none either.
But let me tell you somethin’, money ain’t everything. Sure, it can buy you fancy things, but it can’t buy you happiness. And it sure can’t buy you a good, strong family. That’s what really matters in life, you see. Having good people around you, people who love you and support you. That’s worth more than all the money in the world. But the way the world is going, I don’t know if the young people understand this.
So, this Kyle McCord, he’s got a girlfriend, he’s got money, and he’s got a new team. Sounds like he’s got it all figured out, at least for now. But life’s a funny thing, always throwin’ curveballs. You never know what’s gonna happen next. Just gotta keep your head down and keep on goin’, that’s what I always say. And treat that girlfriend of yours right, Kyle. A good woman is hard to find.
And that Giangiordano girl, she seems like a keeper. Five years is a long time these days for these young folks. Sticking by him through thick and thin, that’s what a good partner does. I hope they’re happy together. And I hope Kyle makes the most of his time at Syracuse, and that money don’t go to his head. Because a big head won’t get you nowhere. Being kind and generous, that’s the true way. And respecting your elders of course.
So that’s the story of Kyle McCord and his girlfriend, as best as I can tell it. A football player, a lot of money, and a girl who seems to love him. Life’s strange, ain’t it? But as long as they are happy and healthy, I guess that’s all that matters. And as for me, I am going to have some tea now, all this talking has made me thirsty.
