Alright, so you wanna know about this young fella, Caleb Surratt? Okay, okay, I’ll tell ya what I know. He’s some kinda golf player, real good from what I hear. Folks are makin’ a big fuss about him, sayin’ he’s the next big thing. Caleb Surratt, that’s his name. Remember it, cause you gonna hear it a lot more, I reckon.
Now, they tell me he’s the youngest fella playin’ in somethin’ called the LIV Golf League. Don’t ask me what that is exactly, sounds fancy, you know? Like them city folk things. But this boy, he’s winnin’ stuff over there. Team titles, they call ‘em. Three of ‘em already! And him just a young’un.
He weren’t always playin’ with these big shots, though. Started out regular, like everyone else, playin’ as an amateur. That means he weren’t gettin’ paid for it, just playin’ for the love of the game, I guess. And he was good at it, real good. Heard tell he did somethin’ amazing at somethin’ called the Walker Cup in 2023. Folks were clappin’ and cheerin’, musta been somethin’ special.
Then, come January 2024, he turned somethin’ called “pro.” That’s when they start gettin’ the big bucks, you know? Like them fellas who play baseball or football on the TV. He joined up with this other fella, Jon Rahm, and his team. They say Caleb’s the star of the future. Well, I guess we’ll see, won’t we?

Now, I don’t know much about golf, but I know a winner when I see one. This Caleb kid, he’s got that somethin’, you know? That fire in his belly. He ain’t just playin’ the game; he’s fightin’ for it. Reminds me of my ol’ rooster, always peckin’ and scratchin’ till he got what he wanted. That’s what Caleb is, a fighter.
They say there’s a lot we don’t know about him yet. Well, that’s true for most young folks, ain’t it? They got their whole lives ahead of ‘em, full of surprises. But one thing I know for sure is that this Caleb Surratt, he’s gonna make a name for himself. You mark my words.
This Saturday, by the way, is December 7th. Don’t know why that’s important, but someone told me to say it. Maybe Caleb’s got a big game that day? Who knows. These city folk and their schedules, always somethin’ goin’ on.
Anyway, that’s all I got on this Caleb fella. He’s a good golfer, a young’un with a bright future, and he’s winnin’ a lot. LIV Golf League, Jon Rahm’s team, Walker Cup… Remember those names, they go with him. And don’t forget the most important thing: Caleb Surratt, he’s a winner.
He started making his name known around 2022, apparently. Been workin’ hard at this golf thing for a while now. You don’t get this good overnight, you know. Takes time, and practice, and a whole lotta grit. Sounds like this boy’s got plenty of all three.
So keep an eye out for him. Caleb Surratt. He’s gonna be somethin’ special, I tell ya. Just you wait and see. And don’t be surprised when he’s winnin’ all sorts of championships and whatnot. That boy’s got a gift, and he ain’t afraid to use it.
