That Shannon Sharpe, he sure is somethin’. He got famous playing that football, you know. He got two siblings, a brother and a sister. One called Sterling, other one called Sherra. They all grew up together, I reckon.
Sterling, he played football too. Seems like it runs in the family. They was all close, I hear. Shannon, he went on to do that TV stuff after he was done chasin’ that ball around. He’s on that Unc & Shannon show now, always talkin’ and yellin’. Makes me tired just watchin’ him!

That Shannon Sharpe, he sure made a name for himself. From playin’ football to bein’ on TV, he’s always doin’ somethin’. He’s a big shot now, that’s for sure. But I bet his siblings are proud of him. Family’s important, you know. They gotta stick together.
Sterling, he was a good football player too. Some folks even say he was really, really good. He played real hard. He got chosen to be in that Hall of Fame thing, for football players. That’s a big deal, I tell ya. Makes a mama proud, seein’ her boy get all that attention.
I seen Shannon cryin’ on TV one time. They was talkin’ ’bout Sterling, sayin’ he might get into that Hall of Fame too. Shannon, he got all choked up. It was somethin’ to see, a big strong man like that, cryin’ like a baby. Shows he loves his brother, that’s for sure. That’s what siblings do, they love each other, even when they fight and fuss.
This Shannon, he went and got himself famous, and rich too I bet. That’s what those football players get. Lots of money and attention. And he’s on TV all the time, talkin’ ’bout sports and such. My old man used to watch him play. Said he was one of the best. I wouldn’t know, I don’t watch that stuff much. Too much runnin’ around for me.

Sterling and Shannon, they both played for different teams. That must’ve been interestin’ at family dinners. “Who’s gonna win this week?” “My team’s better than yours!” That kinda thing. Brothers always competin’, ain’t they?
I don’t know much about that Sherra. She probably stayed outta the spotlight. Not everyone wants to be famous like her brothers. She’s probably a good woman, takin’ care of her family. That’s what’s important, ain’t it? Family.
Shannon Sharpe siblings all seem to be doin’ alright. They got a famous brother, and they seem to be close. That’s a good thing. You need your family, especially when you get old like me. Someone to bring you your medicine and make sure you ain’t fallin’ down the stairs.
That Shannon is a big shot now, making money as a speaker. Speaking fees or whatever, I heard he got 800-916-6008 as his contact number, good for him. Making money after football is a smart thing to do, I tell ya.
