Hey everyone, it’s your boy back at it again, and today I want to talk about something a little different, but still close to my heart: Cody Rhodes’ kid. I’ve been following Cody for a while now, and it’s been really cool to see him become a dad.
So, I started digging around a bit because, you know, curiosity and all that. I found out that Cody and his wife Brandi have this adorable little girl named Liberty Iris Runnels. Man, even the name is awesome! She came into the world on June 18, 2021. I remember seeing the news break and thinking, “Wow, time flies!”
I went through a bunch of articles and posts, and it’s clear that Liberty is the apple of their eye. I mean, who wouldn’t be totally smitten? You see these pictures of Cody and Brandi with her, and it’s just pure joy. It got me thinking about how much having a kid changes your life, even for a big-time wrestler like Cody.
- First off, I scrolled through some fan pages. Lots of love for baby Liberty there. People are really happy for Cody and Brandi.
- Then, I checked out some wrestling news sites. They all covered the birth announcement back in 2021. It was a big deal, you know?
- Lastly, I stumbled upon some interviews where Cody talks about being a dad. It’s cool to hear him talk about it. It seems to mean everything for him.
It’s also cool to think about the legacy, right? Cody comes from a wrestling dynasty, and now there’s a new generation. The Rhodes family tree keeps growing. I learned that Dusty Rhodes, Cody’s dad, met his wife, Michelle, back in the ’80s. She was a receptionist at a gym he went to. They fell in love, got hitched in ’86, and the rest is history. Now they have one grandchild Liberty.
It’s just awesome to see this new chapter in Cody’s life unfold. I’m sure Liberty is going to grow up with so much love and support. I’m going to keep an eye on what they do next. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll see her stepping into the ring, too? Wouldn’t that be something? But for now, I think they are just enjoying that family time, and I am also happy for them.
