Alright, guys, today I want to talk about this new character, Yinlin, in Wuthering Waves. She’s a 5-star Electro character and her banner is coming up on June 6th. I’ve been pretty hyped about her, so I did a little digging and wanted to share what I found.
First off, I checked the official announcement, and yeah, Yinlin is dropping on June 6, 2024. Her banner, called “When Thunder Pours,” will be up until June 28th. So, we’ve got about three weeks to try and pull her.
I started by looking up some guides on how to build her. Seems like she’s a pretty strong character, and there are some specific weapons and Echoes that work really well with her. I noted down some team compositions that people are suggesting. It looks like she fits into a few different roles, which is cool.
Then, I got curious about the timing. I found out that her companion story, “Solitary Path,” also releases on June 6th at 10:00 AM UTC+8. That’s when the Alloy Smelt event kicks off too. I marked my calendar because I definitely want to be there when it all starts. It’s always fun to jump in right when new content drops.
- Checked the dates: Made sure I knew when Yinlin’s banner starts and ends.
- Read up on her kit: Got an idea of her skills and how she plays.
- Looked at team comps: Figured out who she works well with.
- Set a reminder: Made sure I don’t miss the release on June 6th.

I’ve been saving up my resources, so hopefully, I’ll get lucky and pull her. I’m also excited to see what the “Solitary Path” story is all about. I am pretty stoked about the Alloy Smelt event too, so that’s another thing I’m looking forward to.
