Okay, so I’ve been following Iowa State men’s basketball for a while, and this transfer portal thing is always crazy. - I pay attention to see whether they are undergraduate transfers or graduate transfers.
Compiling the Information
Next, after collecting lots of information, I started to organize everything. I was getting tired of clicking around, so I decided to put all the information I collected in one place. It was kind of messy at first, but I used a simple format:

- Position:
- Previous School:
- New School (if known):
- Notes: (Anything interesting, like rumors, visit dates, etc.)
Double-Checking and Refining
After getting a decent list, I started cross-referencing everything. Making sure I wasn’t just repeating rumors. It’s easy to get caught up in the hype, so I tried to stick to confirmed stuff as much as possible.
The End Result (So Far!)
Now, I finally have a pretty decent grasp of the Iowa State men’s basketball transfer situation. It’s not perfect, and it’s constantly changing, but it’s way better than just randomly searching every day.
