First, I hit up the usual spots – the official Payday 3 forums, and some of the bigger fan forums. You know, the places where people are always posting rumors and leaks. I spent a good hour just scrolling through threads, trying to separate the actual info from the wishful thinking.
- Lots of “my uncle works at Starbreeze” type posts… yeah, right.
- Some folks were claiming to have inside info, but it was all super vague.
- A few threads pointed to developer posts, which seemed more promising.
Checking Official Channels
After getting lost in the forum maze, I decided to go straight to the source. I headed over to the official Payday 3 website and social media pages. This is where I usually find the most reliable stuff.
I looked for any official announcements, blog posts, or developer diaries. Sometimes they drop hints in those. Sometimes, I found patch notes or update roadmaps there before, so I have reason to believe that it may appear there.
Putting It All Together
It was a bit of a mess, honestly. Lots of conflicting info, lots of speculation. But after piecing together what seemed like the most reliable bits – official posts, consistent rumors across multiple forums – I could have a better idea of the release date.
It’s not an exact science, but it’s better than just blindly guessing! For me, there are just some games that worth my time waiting.
