Okay, so today I tried out this thing called “NBA Wordle”, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. I’m not the biggest NBA stats geek, but I know enough to, like, name a few players, right?

Getting Started
First, I found the game, figured, why not? It looked simple, just like the original Wordle, but with NBA players instead of words.
I started by typing in a random current player’s name. Figured that was a good starting point, right?
The Process
- First Guess: Total bust! Everything was red. No matches at all. Okay, so maybe my random pick wasn’t so strategic.
- Second Guess: I tried a different player, some one I see and remember. Got one thing green, the division! Feeling a tiny bit better. Progress!
- Third Guess: Tried another player in the same division. Narrowed down the conference, team, and position, but not the jersey number or height.
- Fourth, Fifth Guesses: kept going, I get the positon, it is small forward.
- Sixth Guess:More wrong! height is wrong!
- seventh Guess:I almost give up!
The Result (or Lack Thereof)
I failed…I cannot think any more. It’s harder than it looks! I thought knowing some basketball would be enough, but you really need to know player details. height, jersey number… it’s intense.
I’m probably gonna try again tomorrow, I cannot accept the defeat. Might need to do some “research” (aka look at some NBA stats) beforehand. Maybe I will use a little notebook to help me.
