Okay, so I saw this “Cody Williams draft outfit” thing trending and, honestly, I was curious. I mean, who is this guy, and more importantly, what was he wearing that got everyone talking? So I started digging. It wasn’t some crazy, over-the-top getup, you know? It was more… interesting.
First, I needed to find some pictures. That took a bit of scrolling, not gonna lie. There were a few shots from different angles. Ok, I see it now… it’s a suit, but not your typical Wall Street banker suit. The color is the first thing that grabbed me. We’re talking a deep, kinda velvety green. I think I read somewhere it’s “emerald”? Yeah, that sounds about right.
The Jacket Hunt
Next, I zeroed in on the jacket. I tried to find something similar online, just to get a feel for the style and maybe even the price (research, people!). It’s double-breasted, which already gives it a more formal, kind of old-school vibe. But the material…that’s what sets it apart. I’m pretty sure it’s velvet. I spent a good chunk of time browsing different online stores, trying to match the texture and the shade.
Pants and Shirt Details
Then there were the pants. They matched the jacket, obviously. Same material, same color. Slim-fit, I’d say, but not overly tight. Seemed pretty standard, just really, really well-tailored. And underneath, he had on a black shirt. No tie, which, I gotta admit, I liked. It kept the whole look a little less stuffy, more modern. It was a simple, button-down, I’d say, nothing flashy. This added up, that he want to keep the focus on the suit, I guess.
Shoes and Accessories
Shoes…okay, this is where I spent some more time. They were black, sleek, and looked expensive. I couldn’t quite make out the brand, but I’m guessing they were some kind of designer loafers or oxfords. Definitely leather. No crazy buckles or anything, just classic and clean. I didn’t see any major bling – a watch, maybe, but nothing that screamed “look at me!” It was all about that suit.
Putting It All Together
So, after all this digging and searching, I finally got a good sense of the whole outfit. It was bold, but in a subtle way. That green velvet suit was definitely the star, and everything else was chosen to complement it, not compete with it. I even tried to sketch out the whole look, just to really understand how it all flowed together. It’s definitely a statement, but a classy one. I wouldn’t wear it to the grocery store, that is for sure, but for a big event? Yeah, I get it now.

I have to say, it’s cool to see a young guy taking some fashion risks, and doing it in such a clean way. No crazy prints or logos, just a really unique color and fabric choice. This Cody Williams, I think he’s got some style.
