Okay, so I’ve been getting into collecting sports cards lately, mostly football. And with Kenny Pickett being a relatively new, I figured I’d try and snag some of his rookie cards. Here’s how it went, from start to finish.

First, I started with a bunch of research. you know, what sets exist, which cards are more rare, that kind of thing. I spent like a full afternoon just looking at different websites and forums.
My Hunting Process
- Checked Local Card Shops: I hit up a couple of local hobby shops. It’s always good to check these first. I found a few base cards, nothing too fancy, but it was a start.
- Scoured Online Marketplaces: Next, I went online. I spent hours browsing, comparing prices, and trying to find good deals.
- Bid in Some Auctions: I even tried my luck with a few online auctions. It’s kind of exciting, bidding, you know? I won a couple, lost a few. It is all part of the fun.
After all that, I ended up with a decent little starter collection of Kenny Pickett rookie cards. I got a few base cards from different sets, a couple of parallel versions (those shiny ones), and even one with a piece of a game-used jersey! I’m pretty stoked about it.
It’s kind of addicting, this card collecting thing. It takes time, and effort, but it is all worth in the end.
