Alright, so I wanted to get my hands on the Drang in Destiny 2. I’d heard it was a pretty sweet sidearm, and I’m all about trying out different weapons.
Starting the Quest
First things first, I had to kick off the quest. This involved wrapping up the main story campaign. Then I went for quest called “My Captain”.
Working Through the Steps
After getting the quest, it was all about following the steps. It’s a bunch of stuff, so I’ll try to keep it simple:
- Kill some Fallen. I just went to areas where Fallen enemies hang out and started blasting. EDZ and Nessus were my go-to spots.
- Decrypting Engrams. This one was easy. I just kept playing, looting, and decrypting whatever engrams I picked up.
- Heroic Public Events. I hopped into public events, making sure they were the Heroic versions. Teamwork makes the dream work on these!
- More killing… with a twist. I had to kill a bunch of Fallen on Nessus, and then some specific powerful enemies, also on Nessus.
- Back to Tyra. After all that running around and shooting, I went back to Tyra to chat and get the next step.
The Final Stretch
The last part was, I had to finish the mission on Nessus. I geared up, grabbed some friends, and we knocked it out. It was all about taking down some boss and completing the mission objectives.
And that’s it! I finished the mission, reported back to Tyra, and boom – Drang was mine. It felt good to finally get it after all that work.
It took me a bit of time, some running around, and shooting lots and lots of Fallen. It was not hard, just a bit of a grind, Now I’ve got a shiny new Drang to play with!
