Alright, so I finally got around to messing with this Joe Mauer card in MLB The Show. I’ve been hearing people rave about it, so I figured I’d give it a shot. Here’s how it went down.
First, I jumped into the game and tried to find where the heck this card even was. It took me a minute, honestly, to figure out that it was part of some special pack or something, that the game get to player via some event.
Getting the Card
- I started out by browsing through the menus, looking for any sign of a new program or event.
- Then I spent time to play game via event and mission.
- Finally, I got the card!
Once I got my hands on the card, I added him to my lineup. I put him in at catcher, obviously, because, you know, it’s Joe Mauer.
Testing Him Out
First few games, I wasn’t really feeling it. I mean, he made some decent contact, but nothing crazy. I was starting to think maybe the hype was overblown.
But then, something clicked. I started getting used to his swing, and man, this dude can rake. I was hitting line drives all over the field, doubles in the gap, and even a few bombs over the fence.
My Verdict
So, after spending a good chunk of time playing with this Joe Mauer card, I gotta say, it’s legit. It might take a little getting used to, but once you figure it out, it’s a beast. I think this card gonna stay in my lineup for long time.
