Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this fantasy football dilemma – Jayden Reed or Tee Higgins? It’s been bugging me, so I decided to really dig in and figure it out, and I’m going to walk you guys through what I did.

First, I pulled up both their stats from last season. You know, just basic stuff – receptions, yards, touchdowns. Nothing fancy, just wanted to get a baseline.
Comparing the Basic Numbers
- Jayden Reed: Seemed to have pretty good numbers for a rookie. Consistent, Solid.
- Tee Higgins: Kinda up and down, Some great games, some totally disappeared.
So many factors to consider.
Then, I started watching some game footage. I wanted to see how they actually played, not just the numbers on a spreadsheet. You know, how they run routes, how they catch the ball, that kind of thing.
What I noticed was Reed is a slick route runner. He gets open a lot, even if he’s not the biggest guy. Higgins, on the other hand, is a beast. He can just go up and get the ball, even in tight coverage.
Next, I looked at their team situations. Reed’s with the Packers, and they’ve got a young quarterback, but the offense seems like it could be pretty good. Higgins is with the Bengals, which is awesome, but, also has other great receivers which can make things tricky.

Thinking About the Quarterbacks
- Reed: Younger quarterback, maybe more growing pains, but also a chance to build something special.
- Higgins:Proven, Pro Bowl-caliber Quarterback, a lot of competition.
This is where I really started thinking hard. It’s not just about the players themselves, but also the whole picture around them.
I spent some time reading articles and listening to podcasts, trying to get other people’s opinions. Some people were super high on Reed, saying he’s going to break out this year. Others were all about Higgins, saying he’s a proven commodity.
Finally, after all that, I had to make a decision. It was tough, but I ended up leaning towards Reed. I just feel like he’s got more upside, more potential to really explode this year. Higgins is great, but I think Reed could be even better.
So, that’s my process. I looked at the stats, I watched the film, I considered the team situations, I listened to other opinions, and I made my choice. It’s still a gamble, of course, but that’s what makes fantasy football fun, right?
