Alright, so yesterday I was trying to figure out where to watch the Knicks vs. Spurs game. It wasn’t as straightforward as I thought it would be, so let me walk you through what I did.

First thing’s first, I hopped on Google. I literally typed in “Knicks Spurs game how to watch”. Pretty basic, right?
The initial results were kinda vague. A bunch of sports news sites saying things like “Tune in to catch the action!” but no actual channels or streaming services mentioned. Annoying.
Then I saw something about NBA League Pass. I remembered I had a free trial a while back. So, I went digging around my email to find my login. It was a pain because I have like, a million emails. Finally found it!
Logged in to League Pass, and BAM! The game was blacked out in my area. Figures. Always something, right?
Okay, Plan B. Next I tried searching for local listings. I live in New York, so I figured it might be on MSG Network. Checked my TV guide through my cable provider (Spectrum, ugh). No luck. Wasn’t on MSG. Starting to get frustrated.

Then I remembered my buddy mentioning something about streaming services that carry local sports channels. So, back to Google. This time I searched “streaming services Knicks games”.
Found a few options like FuboTV and Sling TV. Started comparing them. FuboTV seemed to have MSG, but it was kinda pricey. Sling TV was cheaper, but didn’t seem to have MSG in their basic package. Ugh, decisions, decisions.
I ended up going with FuboTV. They had a free trial, so I figured what the heck. Signed up, gave them my credit card info (hoping I remember to cancel before they charge me!).
Fired up FuboTV, found MSG, and there it was! The Knicks game! Finally!
Ended up watching the whole game. Knicks lost, sadly. But at least I saw it. All that just to watch them lose… life, right?

Anyway, that’s how I figured out where to watch the game. It was a whole process. Next time, I’m just going to ask my buddy where he watches it. Probably would have saved me a lot of time.
Here’s a quick recap of the steps I took:
- Googled “Knicks Spurs game how to watch”
- Checked NBA League Pass (blacked out)
- Checked local TV listings (not on MSG)
- Googled “streaming services Knicks games”
- Compared FuboTV and Sling TV
- Signed up for FuboTV free trial
- Watched the game (and sadly, the Knicks lost)
Hopefully, this helps someone else trying to figure out where to watch the game. Sometimes it’s just not that simple!
