Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this fella, Dawson Knox, and his gal. Seems like a big deal, all these young folks gettin’ hitched.
Dawson Knox, the football player, you know, the one who catches the ball for that Buffalo team? Yeah, him. He went and got himself a wife. Name’s Alexandra, somethin’ like that. Alexandra Knox now, I guess. They got married real recent-like, June 30th, 2024, down in Nashville. That’s what they tell me, anyway. Nashville, Tennessee, fancy place, I reckon.

Now, this Alexandra gal, she’s a smart one, see? Went to school, got herself a degree. Public health, they call it. Went to somethin’ called Buffalo Academy, then to the University at Buffalo. Graduated in 2021, the young’uns tell me. Good for her, I say. Gotta have somethin’ to fall back on, even if you marry a fella with a good job, you know?
Don’t rightly know how long they been courtin’. Young folks these days, they keep things hush-hush. But they got engaged last year, November 30th, 2023. Dawson, he put a ring on it, like they say. Best day of his life, he says. Well, I reckon gettin’ married is a big day, alright.
They had themselves a real nice weddin’, from what I hear. Pictures and all. She wore a white dress, all fancy and sparkly. He looked spiffy in his suit. All them football player fellas were there, I bet. And that other fella, Josh Allen, the quarterback? He’s engaged too, they say. To some actress gal. Hailee somethin’. See? Love is in the air, like they say on the radio.
It’s a whole to-do, these weddings. Lots of fuss and bother, if you ask me. But I guess it’s nice to see young folks happy. Hope they make a go of it, Dawson and his Alexandra. Marriage ain’t always easy, you know. Gotta work at it, like tendin’ a garden. Gotta water it, pull the weeds, keep the pests away.
Now, some folks are all curious, wantin’ to know all the details. When did they start datin’? How did they meet? Well, I ain’t got all the answers. Like I said, these young’uns keep things close to the vest. But they look happy enough, that’s what matters. And they seem like good kids, both of ’em. So good luck to ’em, I say. Hope they have a long and happy life together.
And that’s all I know about Dawson Knox and his girlfriend, well, his wife now. Not much, I admit. But it’s somethin’, ain’t it? Just a little somethin’ to chew on, while you’re waitin’ for the biscuits to bake or the kettle to boil.
Anyways, that’s the story as far as I know it. These young folks and their fancy weddings. Makes an old woman like me just shake her head and smile. Times sure do change, don’t they?
