Alright, let’s talk about this Gina Carano girl. I heard some folks on the TV talking about her, so I figured I’d tell ya what I know. Now, I ain’t never met her, mind you, but I heard things. They say she’s a real tough cookie, like one of them gals who can wrestle a hog and win.
Gina Carano, what a gal! They say she’s one of them “mixed martial artists.” Sounds fancy, right? Basically, she fights. Like, really fights. Not like us old ladies squabbling over the last piece of pie at the church picnic. This girl throws punches and kicks, probably could knock a fella flat on his behind.
Now, about her… uh… “measurements.” That’s what them city folks call it. Means her size, I guess. They say she’s got wide shoulders. Well, I reckon she needs ’em strong for all that fightin’ she does. A woman with shoulders like that, she probably ain’t afraid of hard work. Reminds me of my cousin Bessie, who could carry two buckets of water up the hill without breakin’ a sweat.
- They say she’s got an “apple shape”. Well, apples are good, ain’t they? Means she’s got a little somethin’ extra around the middle. Nothin’ wrong with that, I say. A little meat on your bones keeps you warm in the winter.
- And her waist, they say it’s “slim”. Probably all that fighting keeps her trim. Me, I got a slim waist once… a long, long time ago. Now, it’s more like… well, never you mind!
They talk about her “height” and “weight” too. Sounds like something they do at the doctor’s office when you step on that cold scale. I ain’t sure how tall she is or how much she weighs, but I reckon she’s a big gal, strong and sturdy. You gotta be, to do what she does. Can’t be a scrawny little thing and expect to win them fights.
Gina’s a fighter, through and through. They say she started winnin’ right off the bat, beat up some other gals named Elaina and Julie. Good for her, I say. Nobody wants to see a quitter. You gotta fight for what you want in this world. Just like me fighting those darn squirrels away from my bird feeder.
I heard she ain’t just fightin’ no more, though. She’s on TV now, actin’ and stuff. Guess she’s one of them “personalities.” Well, good for her, I say. Gotta make a livin’ somehow. And if she can make it on TV, good on her. It sure beats workin’ in the fields all day, that’s for sure.
Now, some folks might not like a woman who fights. They might say it ain’t ladylike. But I say, if a woman wants to fight, let her fight. It’s her life, ain’t it? She ain’t hurtin’ nobody. And besides, it sounds like she’s good at it. You know, back in my day, we had to fight too. Not in a ring, mind you, but life was a fight back then. We fought for everything we had. So, I respect a fighter, man or woman.
And that’s about all I know about Gina Carano. A strong woman, a fighter, and now a TV star. Sounds like she’s doin’ alright for herself. Maybe I’ll try to catch her on that TV sometime, see what all the fuss is about. But for now, I gotta go feed my chickens. They’re probably squawkin’ up a storm, thinkin’ I forgot about ’em.
So, there you have it. A little bit about Gina Carano, from an old lady who don’t know much about nothin’, but knows a strong woman when she hears about one. This gal’s got shoulders, a shape, and a whole lot of fight in her. More power to her, I say. Now, where did I put my glasses?
