Alright, alright, let’s talk about this… what’s it called? Zainab… Sa-qeeb? Yeah, that’s it. Zainab Saqib. Sounds fancy, like somethin’ you’d hear on them TV shows. Don’t know much about her, but the young’uns, they’re always yappin’ about folks on that… “in-stuh-gram,” they call it.
So, I poked around a bit, like a hen peckin’ for corn. Found some pictures, all dolled up she was. Pretty clothes, lots of sparkly stuff. Said somethin’ ‘bout a “nikkah ceremony.” Sounds like a weddin’, I reckon. All them fancy folks and their big parties. Good for them, I guess.
She’s got a bunch of pictures, shows her off in different outfits. One of ‘em she says it’s her “fav look.” Well, alright then. She seems to like sharin’ her pictures, wants folks to see what she’s wearin’. That’s what this “in-stuh-gram” thing is all about, ain’t it? Showin’ off and such.
Heard tell she’s got followers, lots of ‘em. Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds like a whole lotta people lookin’ at her pictures. Must be nice, havin’ all that attention. Me, I’m just happy if the chickens lay their eggs and the garden grows.
- She puts up videos too, they say. Shares ‘em with friends and family. Just like we do with our pictures, ‘cept hers are on that there… phone thingy. Times are changin’, that’s for sure.
- Folks are always lookin’ at screens now. Don’t hardly talk to each other face-to-face no more. But hey, if that’s what makes ‘em happy, who am I to judge?
Seems like this Zainab Saqib, she’s got this “in-stuh-gram” thing figured out. All them pictures and videos, gettin’ all them “likes” and “comments.” It’s a whole ‘nother world, I tell ya. A world I don’t rightly understand, but it seems to keep folks busy.
I saw somewhere she has somethin’ called a “Pinterest” too. More pictures, I guess. Seems like she’s all about sharin’ her style and such. Good for her, makin’ a go of it. Everybody’s gotta find their way in this world, ain’t they?
So, this Zainab Saqib… she’s a pretty gal, dresses nice, and likes to share her life online. That’s about all I can gather. Don’t know her from a hole in the ground, but she seems harmless enough. Just another one of them folks on the internet, doin’ their thing. And that’s all there is to it, ain’t it? People livin’ their lives, sharin’ what they want to share. It’s a different world now, from the one I grew up in, that’s for sure.
This “ootd” thing she uses, I figure it means “outfit of the day”. Young folks and their short words! They sure do like showing off what they’re wearing. And “fyp”? I ain’t got a clue. Probably some other internet lingo. They got a whole language of their own, these youngsters.
And them “couple goals”? Well, I guess that means she’s got a fella, and they look good together. Good for them. Love is a good thing, a blessin’. Hope they’re happy, whoever they are. It’s always nice to see folks findin’ their way, finding their happiness, even if it’s in a way I don’t quite understand.
Anyways, that’s all I got to say about this Zainab Saqib. She seems nice enough, living her life, sharing her pictures. It ain’t my cup of tea, this “in-stuh-gram” stuff, but to each their own, I always say.
