Well, lemme tell ya somethin’ about that there paintin’, “The Last Supper.” You wanna see it? Gotta go to that Milan place. That’s the city you’re lookin’ for. Big, fancy city, that Milan. Not like our little town, no sir. They got all them fancy buildin’s and cars and whatnot.
This fella, Leonardo, he painted that picture a long time ago. They say it’s real famous. Heard it’s in some church, Santa Maria delle… delle somethin’ or other. Big church, I reckon. They got a lot of them big churches over there in that Milan city.
Now, I ain’t never been to no Milan myself. Too far for these old bones. But I seen pictures. Looks like a right busy place. Lots of folks goin’ this way and that. And them buildin’s, they’re tall! Not like our houses here.
That paintin’, “The Last Supper,” it’s s’posed to be somethin’ special. Shows Jesus and his buddies eatin’ their last meal together. I reckon it’s a sad picture, if you think about it. But pretty, too. All them colors and details. That Leonardo, he musta been one smart cookie to paint somethin’ like that.

They even wrote it in the paper. New York Times, I think the name is. Big name for the big city where you can see The Last Supper.
That Milan, it’s a long way from here. But maybe someday, I’ll get to go. See that paintin’ for myself. Wouldn’t that be somethin’? An old gal like me, goin’ all the way to that fancy city just to see a picture. “The Last Supper in Milan“, they call it.
You know, they got all kinds of things in that Milan. Clothes and food and I don’t know what all. But that paintin’, that’s the real draw, I reckon. “The Last Supper,” they call it. By that Leonardo fella. In that Milan city.
I reckon that Leonardo, he’s probably up there in heaven now, lookin’ down at all them folks admirin’ his paintin’. Must make him proud. All them people comin’ to that Milan, just to see his work. It’s a good city to see the last supper nyt.
