Well, let me tell you, I heard there’s gonna be a big golf tournament right here in Napa, CA. Yep, right here in our little old wine country. Imagine that, all them fancy golfers comin’ to our town.
My neighbor, she told me all about it. Said it’s a big deal. Lots of folks gonna be watchin’, I reckon. It’s called the Silverado golf tournament. Never did see much golf myself, but it sure sounds excitin’.
Big Doings in Napa, CA
They say this golf tournament in Napa, CA is gonna be in July. July 7th to the 9th, if I recall correct. Hotter than a firecracker then, but I guess them golfers are used to it. They’ll be playin’ at that fancy Silverado place. Heard it’s real nice, all green and pretty. World-class, they call it.
They say this tournament, it’s for them amateurs. Not the big-shot professionals, but the ones tryin’ to get there. All ages, too, young and old. That’s what I heard, anyway. They want to play like a pro in the golf tournament.

Now, this other thing I heard about, it’s called the “PGA TOUR Q-School.” Don’t ask me what that means, but it sounds mighty official. They say it’s the way them golfers get to play in the big leagues, the PGA TOUR, they call it. Top five get to go, that’s what I heard. This golf tournament in Napa, CA, it’s like a stepping stone, I guess.
And then there’s this “Procore Championship.” Another golf tournament! They say it’s the start of somethin’ called the “FedExCup Fall.” Now, I don’t know nothin’ about no FedExCup, but it sounds like a big prize. And it’s all happenin’ right here at Silverado. Busy place, that Silverado. Lots of golf tournament happening there.

They say the staff, the ones runnin’ this golf tournament in Napa, CA, they know what they’re doin’. They got experience, they know how to make it all run smooth. They help with the scorin’ and all that. Makes it easier for the folks playin’, I reckon. All about the golf tournament, making it nice.
