So, I’ve been following this WWE thing for a while now, and let me tell you, Rhea Ripley is a beast! I mean, she’s tough as nails and always puts on a show. But recently, things took a bit of a turn.
I was watching NXT, and bam! Out of nowhere, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez jump Rhea in the parking lot. It was brutal! I was like, “No way, this can’t be happening!” Turns out, it was a setup to write her off the show because she got seriously hurt.
They said she got a fractured orbital socket around her right eye. Ouch! That sounds painful, right? Apparently, she got this injury during a storyline attack, which is kind of ironic if you think about it. She’s this powerful wrestler, and then she gets taken out by a staged attack.
So, what did I do? I went down the rabbit hole, of course! I started digging around, trying to find out more about this injury and what it means for Rhea. I found out that it’s a broken orbital bone, which is basically the bone around your eye. And let me tell you, it’s not pretty. She had to give up her Women’s World Championship because of it.
- First, she won the Royal Rumble match in 2023, which was a huge deal.
- Then, she battled Flair at WrestleMania 39 and won the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
- But then, this injury happened, and she had to take a break.
I felt bad for her, you know? She was on such a roll, dominating everyone, and then this happens. It just goes to show that anything can happen in the world of wrestling. I even saw some report saying she makes around $250,000 a year, which is crazy, but she’s been with other wrestling groups before like Riot City Wrestling and New Horizon Pro Wrestling.
Now, there’s no official word on when she’ll be back, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I’m a big fan, and I can’t wait to see her back in the ring, kicking butt and taking names. Hopefully, she comes back stronger than ever!
The Waiting Game
For now, all we can do is wait and see. It’s tough being a fan sometimes, especially when your favorite wrestlers get injured. But hey, that’s the nature of the business. It’s a rough sport, and these things happen. I’m just hoping for a speedy recovery for Rhea, and I’m sure she’ll be back to her dominating self in no time.
