Okay, so, let’s talk about this whole “Sean O’Flaherty Golf” thing. I’ve been trying to get my golf game in shape for, like, forever, and figured I’d give this a shot.
I started by doing some digging, you know, just seeing what the buzz was all about. Seems like this guy, Sean, he’s kinda a big deal in the golf coaching world. I watched a bunch of his videos, trying to soak up some of that wisdom. He talks a lot about making the game fun and not getting too stressed out, which, honestly, is half my battle right there.
I tried to implement some of his tips during my practice sessions. I made myself loosen up and not get too hung up on every single shot, I was focusing on enjoying the fresh air. I started to pay attention to my short game, which, let me tell you, was a mess before. I’m still not sinking every putt, but I can see some progress.
My Practice Routine Changes
- Warming up: I used to just grab my driver and start whaling away. Now, I do some stretches and start with shorter shots, trying to find my rhythm.
- Focusing on feeling: Instead of getting bogged down in the technicalities, I tried to feel the swing and how it connects to my body, I focused on how my body feels when it moves.
- Short game drills: I’m spending more time around the green, chipping and putting. It’s not glamorous, but it’s making a difference.
- Playing more: I was all about the driving range before. Now, I’m trying to get out on the course more, even if it’s just for nine holes. I played on the course with my friends.
It’s not like I suddenly turned into a pro or anything. I still have those days where I want to throw my clubs in the lake. But, overall, I feel like I’m actually improving. More importantly, I’m having more fun out there, and I started to enjoy playing with others. And maybe, just maybe, I can finally hold my own when I play with my buddies.
So, yeah, that’s my Sean O’Flaherty Golf experience so far. It’s a work in progress, but I’m sticking with it. I feel my improvements now, and I think I can play better in the future.
