Okay, so I’ve been diving deep into this whole “Shadow of the Erdtree” thing, and one question that’s been bugging me is whether or not those Scadu levels carry over to New Game Plus. I mean, we’re all grinding to beef up our characters, right? It would suck if all that effort went down the drain when we start a new playthrough.
So, I rolled up my sleeves and started digging. First, I jumped into the game and played through a good chunk of the DLC. Got myself a decent Scadu level, something to really test the waters. Then, I saved my game—multiple times, because you can never be too careful—and headed into NG+.
My Experiment Process
- Played through the “Shadow of the Erdtree” DLC and leveled up my Scadutree Blessing a few times.
- Saved the game in multiple slots (gotta be safe, you know).
- Started a New Game Plus.
- Immediately checked my character stats and inventory to see if the Scadutree Blessing was still there.
- Compared my stats before and after starting NG+ to see if there were any changes.
And guess what? It’s good news! Your Scadu levels are right there in your inventory when you start NG+. Phew, that’s a relief. No lost progress, no wasted effort. I tested this out a few times, just to make sure it wasn’t some weird fluke. Same result every time. Started NG+, Scadu levels were there.
So, yeah, if you’re like me and were stressing about whether those Scadu levels would vanish into the ether, you can relax. You can grind away, knowing your hard work will pay off even when you dive into NG+. It’s a good system, honestly. Keeps you feeling powerful and makes that second (or third, or fourth…) playthrough way more fun. Keep on playing, fellow gamers!
