Hey guys, I’m back again with another cool project I’ve been messing around with. This time it’s all about that iconic Michael Jordan hologram basketball card. You know, the one from the 90s that was all the rage? Well, I got my hands on one, and let me tell you, it’s a trip down memory lane.
First things first, I dug out the card from my old collection. It was tucked away in a box, hidden amongst a bunch of other cards. Seeing it again brought back so many memories. I carefully removed it from its protective sleeve, making sure not to damage it.
The real fun began when I started playing around with the hologram. I tilted the card back and forth, watching Michael Jordan move. It’s seriously mesmerizing. I spent a good chunk of time just admiring the craftsmanship. They don’t make ’em like this anymore.
Experimenting with Different Lighting
Next, I decided to get a little more experimental. I grabbed a few different light sources – a flashlight, a desk lamp, even my phone’s light – and shined them on the card at various angles.

- My phone’s light was surprisingly effective, especially when I held it really close to the card.
I took a bunch of photos and videos during this process. Documenting is a must. I wanted to capture all the different effects I was getting. It was like being a kid again, rediscovering the magic of this card.
Finally, I put the card back in its protective sleeve. I’m thinking of getting it properly graded and maybe even framed. It’s not just a card; it’s a piece of sports history and a reminder of a simpler time.
