It’s been a long time since we’ve seen her in the ring – like, almost a decade! But ever since CM Punk came back to WWE, people have been wondering if AJ might be following suit. I mean, she’s a powerhouse!
I get it, it’s exciting to think about. CM Punk’s return really stirred the pot. It’s just that, it’s been a while since AJ’s been in the ring. She hung up her boots back in 2015, and it’s been pretty quiet from her side.
The truth is, the excitement around her potential return is totally understandable. AJ left WWE at a pivotal time, just as the Women’s Revolution was kicking off. It was a big deal back then! She’s like a legend in the women’s division.
But, things are a little different now, right? It’s not just about the fans wanting her back, it’s about what kind of role she’d play in WWE today.
And, we have to remember that AJ’s a super private person. She’s not really on social media, and she doesn’t give interviews too often. So, we can’t really get a peek into what she’s thinking.
I think, the best way to look at this is to separate the “wants” from the “reality.”
We want to see AJ back in the ring. We want to see her face down the new generation of superstars, and maybe even reclaim her title. It’s a dream scenario, right?
But, we also have to acknowledge that AJ’s life outside of WWE is pretty great. She’s got her own thing going on, and she’s probably happy with it.
It’s totally cool if she never steps back into the ring, but it’s also cool to imagine her back in the spotlight. It’s like a nice little dream.
