Okay, so I’ve been getting hammered with this question lately: Miles Sanders or Najee Harris? It’s fantasy football draft season, and everyone’s trying to figure out who to snag. I decided to dig in and really figure this out for myself, and hopefully, help some of you guys out too.

First, I Started with Last Year’s Stats
I pulled up their 2022 stats, you know, rushing yards, touchdowns, receptions, the whole nine yards. Gotta get a baseline, right? Seeing the numbers side-by-side, I started to get a feel for their production levels. I am very exciting to see and learn what will happened
- Miles Sanders: He had a pretty solid year, no doubt. But I was looking for something more… something that screams “league winner.”
- Najee Harris: The volume was definitely there, but the efficiency… eh, not so much. That got me thinking about the offensive line.
Then, I Dove into the Offenses
Stats only tell part of the story, I learned that the hard way last year, Remember! You gotta look at the teams they’re on. So, I started researching the Eagles and the Steelers. Changes in coaching, offensive line upgrades, quarterback situations – all that jazz. I spent hours reading articles, listening to podcasts, My friend, he is the best!
I really started to consider, how much do I trust each team’s overall offense? Will they be scoring a lot of points? Will they be running the ball effectively? This will affect the total perfomance.
I Watched Some Game Film (Okay, Highlights)
I’m not gonna lie, I’m not a professional scout. But I wanted to see these guys run. So, I went on the internet, and checked out some highlight reels. I’m looking for things like burst, vision, how they handle contact. How will they feel like?
I also tried to find some analysis of their running styles. Are they more power runners? Do they rely on speed and agility? This helps paint a picture of how they might fit into their respective offenses.

Finally, I Checked Some Expert Rankings
After all my own research, I wanted to see what the “experts” were saying. I looked at a bunch of different fantasy football rankings and projections. It’s good to get a consensus view, even if you don’t always agree with it.
The Verdict (For Me, At Least)
After all this, I made my decision. It’s still a tough call, and it probably depends on your league’s scoring settings. But for me, I think I’m leaning slightly towards [drum roll]…it depends! Seriously, it’s that close. I’d probably take Sanders in a standard league, but Harris in a full PPR (points per reception) league.
And that is my finall answer I can get!
But hey, that’s just my take. Do your own research, trust your gut, and most importantly, have fun with it! That’s what fantasy football is all about, right?
